ProCreate is a new generation of Epoxy Putty formulated specifically for the
professional artist to create original miniature sculptures. ProCreate has a
fine, non-grainy consistency that makes it easy to mix, sculpt, smooth and
allows for extremely fine detail.
The unique ProCreate formula allows for easy customization of work life and
hardness/flexibility by varying the temperature and the mix ratio of Base to
Hardener. The standard mix ratio of 1:1 at 75 degrees F (24 degrees C) allows
for a work life of around 120 minutes. A temperature decrease (or increase) of
about 20 degrees F (11 degrees C) will double (half) the work life. Note that
curing above 95 degrees F (32 degrees C) is not recommended since it can
soften the mixed putty and result in the loss of sculpture shape and detail. A
more flexible cure may be achieved for organic shapes by using more of the
black coloured Hardener. A harder cure may be achieved for hard edges,
machines and for easier sanding and filing by using more of the white Base
putty (see ration chart below for more details).
Grey was specifically selected to be the final mixed colour for ProCreate.
Grey allows fine detail work to be observed more easily and results in less
eye strain.
Contents of Blister – One bar each Resin and Hardener, 35 grams each, 70 grams
total. Each bar is individually wrapped in foil paper for long term storage
protection
Directions/Instructions:
• In order to achieve optimal adhesion, surfaces should be cleaned free of
grease or dirt.
• See below chart to determine the desired mix ratio.. It is possible to
adjust this ratio somewhat, depending upon the sculpting requirements.

Note: All
figures are approximate since cure can change depending on the ambient
temperature and amount of putty mixed (See "Additional Curing
Information" section in the instructions)
To Use ProCreate:
1. Cut desired amount of each part.
2. Mix two parts together with fingers until a uniform grey colour is achieved
3. Apply to surface and sculpt.
Manipulating Cure Time:
• Place the mixed ProCreate ™ in the freezer to stop hardening.
• Place the mixed ProCreate ™ under a warm lamp (95 ˚ F /35 ˚ C max – oven
recommended) to speed the hardening process.
Features and Benefits:
• Mixed Colour: Gray
• No shrinkage
• Very easy to smooth
• Easy tooling and less sticky
• Holds Extremely Fine Detail
• Customizable Formula (see chart)
Additional Curing Information:
• Thin sections will cure more slowly
• Thicker sections will cure faster
• Heat will cure the epoxy faster
• Cold will cause the epoxy to cure more slowly
